class molfoundry.CompositionEdge(class_ref, *args)

An edge of a CompositionGraph.

Rule edges have no id of their own, so firstId and secondId are the (source, target) endpoint ids of the first- and second-rule edge it represents, or None. They cannot be read off the endpoints: two overlap vertices may be joined by an edge that exists in only one of the rules.

property stringLabel: str | None

The edge label, or None for electron graphs (unlabeled edges).

property firstId: Tuple[int, int] | None

(source, target) of the first-rule edge this edge represents, or None.

property secondId: Tuple[int, int] | None

(source, target) of the second-rule edge this edge represents, or None.
